RMA Poudre Rock Report

Folks, there is a new rock gauge on Spencer Heights. It’s located at the top of the pull out beside Boneyard, or just below the bridge downstream from Poudre Falls (on river left). You need to scramble down the bank a bit to find it. So if you’re driving in the upper canyon, please stop, get a reading and post it to the rock report (as a comment to the last post). Thanks!

Currently 48.9F, sunny and windy. Look for debris in Riv, lots of branches and whole trees came down in the wind yesterday. There’s a full 50′ Pondi down between BTO and the North Poudre Diversion- fortunately not in the Riv nor on the Road!

Wx for Poudre Park: Today: Sunny, with a high near 76. South southwest wind between 9 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west.

Overnight low at Cameron Pass is 31F tonight, warming to high 30’s for overnight lows the next few days!

Pine View 3.25 this morn. Currently 63.7F, partly cloudy and breezy. Wx for Poudre Park: Memorial Day: Partly sunny, with a steady temperature around 60. Windy, with a west wind 20 to 23 mph increasing to between 34 and 37 mph. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. Windy, with a west wind 30 to 33 mph decreasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.

From Camp Falbo

Didn’t move much today. About the same at 8am as at 7pm. Scenery was beautiful and weather ended up great.
For those interested the gauge on Little South at the bridge has been at 45 the last two days.

Currently 48.5F, cloudy and raining. Despite the below Wx report from
NOAA, I give it a better than slight chance for showers and give it a
current 100% chance. Enjoy.

between 6 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of
precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before
midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. South southeast wind
between 7 and 10 mph becoming calm.
