Currently 40.5˚F, overcast and Damp! NOAA calls for- Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. Southeast wind between 7 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight: A chance of rain before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. East southeast wind between 8 and 11 mph becoming calm. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Also, SNOTEL claims a mere single inch of snow left at Joe Wright. So, unless we get some snow in a late spring storm, all we have left (for all practical purposes) is what’s in storage. Enjoy

It was a little chilly today, but the river’s coming up a bit -probably from yesterday’s heat. Long Draw is open now at 27 cfs, and the diversions are increasing bit by bit. Let’s hope the cool weather keeps it steady, there’s not much snow left up there! It’s great to be back on the Poudre, let’s hope it lasts a while!

Just touching the bottom of the line, we are almost back to 2. Currently 55.6˚F, sunny and calm, it’s looking to be another beautiful day in the Canyon. We lost the 2″ gain at JW and are now sitting at a measly 8″ of snow with an unreadable snow-water equiv.
