Beginner Kayaking:
Two Day Fast Track: Was your first day in a whitewater kayak as a student in one of our Two Day Fast Track Classes? If so, now is a great time to share that experience with your friends and loved ones. We have two 2DFT’s this month with spots available in both. See availability and pricing here.
Roll Class: Learn how to properly and effectively roll a whitewater kayak from an experienced instructor in this half day course. Last class is Aug. 12th.
Intermediate Kayaking: Are you comfortable in Class II, but hoping to master Class III before the end of the season? Then check out our Intro to River Running course. Last class is Aug. 13th and spots are filling fast.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding: Check out our SUP Basics course on Aug. 26th. This half-day class will provide you with the basic skills to get out on your local body of water safely and with confidence. Kids welcome.

RMA will be conducting our “Intro to Creek Boating” class this coming Sunday, July 9th. Our most advanced class, designed for the Intermediate paddler stepping up to Class IV runs who want to improve their creek boating skills. This class will focus on making hard moves in low consequence water as well as scouting and running harder whitewater. By strengthening existing skill sets such as foundational strokes, dealing with larger river features and rapids, technical maneuvers, and safety skills, each student will gain confidence and comfort in technical whitewater.
Prerequisites for Registering for this Class:
• Must be able to demonstrate a roll in moving water
• Must be able to demonstrate a wet-exit from kayak
• Must be able to demonstrate peeling in/out of eddies
• Comfortable Paddling in Class III whitewater
