Reportedly the water’s come down a tad to ~0.8 from 1.0 Monday.
Breaking News on the Poudre- 3 Way Cleared of Logs
You may have heard, we had a significant rain storm over the High Park Burn Area yesterday. It washed a significant amount of water, mud, logs and other debris into the Riv out of the Stove Prairie area.
This caused a spike in flows that easily topped 3.0 on the Rock (anecdotal from markers in my yard and on Smith Bridge). It also swept the logs out of 3-Way (3 Rock) Rapid. I have not put eyes on this yet, but I have been informed by a trusted source that all but one log have been swept downstream and the Rapid is now run-able. I will head up and take pics later.
What this does mean is… there are more than a dozen sizable logs downstream from 3 Way!! I have two of them atop boulders in my back yard alone!! So, late season Boaters- beware of new strainers and bridges.
Oh yeah, it also washed out the last cattle guard on Stove Prairie Rd (1/4 mile south of 14), which is now impassable until possibly as late as Monday. Will broadcast pics of 3-Way later today.

Whitewater Park & River Projects Open house THIS Thursday!
Reminder that this week is the most important show of support you can give

the project.

what the park will look like. Unlike the last get together at the Lincoln
Center, 5:00 to 6:00 is devoted to the whitewater park.

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Lincoln Center

Fort Collins, CO 80521
