Sorry for the late post. And this might not be my most accurate post, as it was pretty dark at 0615 and I needed a flashlight to see the rock. But it sure looked just below the “2” line.
I will start posting on a regular basis this week. Looking forward to a great season. See you all out there!

Boaters and Anglers,
I know you are all getting restless and eager to get wet. This message is to serve two purposes- 1) let you all know we are still here and getting ready for what should be a great season, and 2) let you all know of a hazard that is in the River at this point in time.
1) We will begin reporting on a regular basis in the next couple of weeks. As of today, we are holding steady at 0.9 on the Rock. We may see a significant spike after this weekend, as we may be looking at sunny and warm- at least in the Fort.
2) There is a large man-made plastic object with metal pipes sticking out of it in the Riv. This object is in the beginning of the Bridges Run. Specifically, it is at the top of the Right-Hand-Bend just above the straights above the Grey Rock Bridge. Currently it is under water, but has a metal pipe facing directly upstream. Early Season Boaters- use extreme caution. Adding to the problem, it is not in a good place to scout from the road, as it’s even with the (newer) guard rail- again please use caution if you scout.
We are currently working with several agencies to come up with a plan to remove this object, but no promises there. In the mean time we will keep an eye on it and alert the community if there are any changes.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe.
