BOATERS- Last week the Mrs. and I (Falbos), with the help of local legend Trevor and his crew, helped unwrap a boat and rescue some people from the middle of the Riv in Poudre Park (just above Decapitation Bridge and Cardiac Corner). I’m not looking for accolades or pats on the back, I am however, looking for my guide stick. We gave it to neighbors in their yard to warn incoming boats there’s a line in the water. When we got everybody to shore, and up on the road (boat and all), and ran the drivers down to BTO, the neighbors gave my guide stick to the group waiting on the side of the road, thinking it was theirs. Being unaware that it was my guide stick used for this endeavor, we drove right past the group waiting on the side of the road for their ride and went back to Camp Falbo. I’m guessing, when their shuttle got there, they simply bundled everything into the truck and split (not a great place to load a boat on the road). So… if you are reading this, please look at your paddles and look for my stick. It has my name and number on it and would like it back, please and thank you.
